It was a wild weekend on Full Tilt Poker as Isildur1 began by beating Ben “Sauce1234” for $619k in $400/$800 PLO on Friday.
On Saturday Isildur1 continued to roll with a massive $500,000+ victory over Alex “Kanu7” Millar in $300/$600 No-Limit Hold’em. Isildur1 also renewed acquaintances with Sauce1234 later that day and beat him for another $300,000+.
Sulsky, the biggest high-stakes winner in 2012, is down nearly $2 million on Full Tilt Poker this year.
It wasn’t all good for Isildur1 on Saturday, however, as he dumped over $500k to Galfond near the end of the day. It ended up being a sign of things to come.
Galfond Up Nearly $1.3 Million on Full Tilt in 2013
On Sunday Isildur1 finally hit the huge downswing that many in the community had been expecting.
Isildur1 played a manic 1,973-hand $300/$600 PLO session against Galfond that saw him continually quit, win at other games, but then return to get stomped by Galfond.
By the time Isildur1 finally slinked off into the night for good he was down $1.07 million.
With the victory Gafond became the second biggest winner on FTP this year with $1.3 million in profit.
According to hsdb.com Isildur1 was up over $5 million on Full Tilt Poker in 2013 before his disastrous session against Galfond yesterday.
Isildur1 remains the biggest winner on Full Tilt with about $4 million in profit on the site but if the young Scandinavian is known for anything it’s not taking losses very well.
Blom famously lost $4.2 million to Brian Hastings on Full Tilt in a single day.
