Marchese, one of the most respected online pros in the world, came in to the final table third in chips but dominated much of the action to enter heads-up play with a slight lead.

He needed some help to seal the deal, however.

After a back-and-forth match that stayed pretty even until Robl edged out to a 2-1 chip advantage, Marchese found himself all-in with 7 4 against Robl's T T.

The board came A Q 6 3 to the turn, leaving Marchese just three non-spade fives to save him.

The 5 miraculously dropped on the river and Marchese was back in the game. Thirty hands later, he was the champ.

On the final hand, Robl min-raised to 500k with A 4, Marchese reraised to 1.2 million with 8 8 and Robl shoved.

Marchese snap-called and improved to a set on the flop to take the title down.

Having originally busted in the tournament and opting to re-buy, Marchese ended up making it worth his while and takes home $1.1 million in profit.

Robl earned $822,375 for his runner-up finish.
