Today in the 3-Bet we find out who the favorite is in the live-bet iSeries, another encouraging round of job postings for Pocket Kings and Daniel Negreanu sharing a close encounter with Howard Lederer and Annie Duke.
1) Negreanu the Favorite in iSeries LIVE – But Not By Much
The much-discussed iSeries LIVE event is set to get underway tomorrow in Dublin and, as of today, the smart betting money is apparently on Daniel Negreanu to win it all.
Overall odds have been set by PaddyPowerPoker (where you can do your live betting) and the current line has Negreanu the favorite at 11/2 – just slightly ahead of Phil Hellmuth at 13/2.
Eoghan O’Dea and Carlos Mortenson are next at 7/1 with German Tobias Renkemeier right behind at 15/2.
James Dempsey, Dave “Devilfish” Ulliott, Marvin Rettenmaier and Faraz Jaka are all at 8/1 while Maria Ho is the underdog at 10-1.
The intriguing format – with 10 players battling it out for $100k in a winner-take-all format and live bets taken from viewers as it happens – is the first of its kind and industry players are certainly watching closely to see what the fan response might be.

2) More Job Postings Up for Pocket Kings
After yesterday’s encouraging news about “urgent” job opps for customer service agents at Full Tilt Poker’s main company Pocket Kings, things progressed even further today with another round of posts on worky.com, a Dublin-based job networking site
The 10 new job posts for Pocket Kings are IT heavy this time with positions offered for a Software Engineer, QA Engineer, Production Operations Manager, Game Systems Analyst and an Internal Tools Developer.
Also interesting were listings for a Database Developer for Payments, a Payment Processing Analyst and a Cashier Analyst with experience in several forms of international online transaction processing required.
Surprisingly, Pocket Kings has yet to update its company profile page and still lists itself as “one of the world’s fastest growing poker sites” and “the only online poker community that allows players to regularly learn, chat and play poker with 28 of world's best poker professionals.”
