Sahamies was in the midst of a 784-hand $100/$200 6-Max PLO session when he nailed this table-breaker against Kaiser.
The table also included doncarignano and Rob “Vaga_Lion” Akery although they stayed out of this particular hand. Sahamies was sitting on $106,565 while Kaiser had $87,539 behind.
Sahamies led out for $800 and Kaiser 3-bet to $2,840 from the small blind. Sahamies called and that brought a 8♣ 8♦ 6♥ flop.
Kaiser checked but his Finnish rival bet out $5,400. Kaiser called and the 7♠ peeled off the deck as the turn card.
Once again Kaiser checked but Sahamies bet $17,035. Kaiser called and the board finished with the 6♣, pairing the board for the second time.
Kaiser checked one more time and Sahamies simply shoved for $51,105, enough to cover Kaiser.
The Swiss pro pondered his options but eventually made the call only to have 7♥ 6♥ Q♠ T♦ for the rivered boat. Kaiser mucked his hand as the massive $153k pot went directly to Sahamies.

Despite the massive pot, Sahamies only finished with $72k in profit on PokerStars last night as Vaga_Lion (+$119k), Ben86 (+$100k) and Sauce123 (+$96k) were the biggest winners.
Kaiser, on the other hand, never seemed to recover from losing the $153k beast and ended up finishing the night with a total of $181k in losses.
He had some company on the losing side, however, as recent $1 million SuperStar Showdown winner Viktor “Isildur1” Blom dropped $156k in the PLO games.
