The World Series of Poker is back on ESPN starting Aug. 18 with exclusive coverage of the WSOP National Championship and then the Main Event.
This year’s WSOP coverage will actually begin with the National Championship, which took place in Harrah’s Cherokee just two weeks ago.
It featured stars like Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu and Loni Harwood and was eventually won by Harwood for her second-career bracelet.
The Championship will be a one-shot episode on Tuesday, Aug. 18, before ESPN moves on to the Main Event.
ESPN to Feature Over 16 Episodes of Main Event Coverage
This year’s WSOP Main Event coverage will begin on Monday, Sept. 14, and run weekly (some weeks on Sunday and others on Wednesday) for a total of 16 individual episodes.
Finally the 2015 WSOP Main Event November Nine will be televised live (with a 30-minute delay) starting on Sunday, Nov. 8 and run until Nov. 10.
The final table will be spread across three separate days with the first day (Nov. 8) being set aside for going from nine players down to four.
On Monday, Nov. 9, the final table will be reduced from four players to just two. Finally heads-up play will commence on Tuesday, Nov. 10 and will play to a winner.
It’s the first time that final table coverage has been expanded from two days to three. Here’s a look at the complete schedule on ESPN:
