888poker has been struggling with network issues over the last month but that hasn’t stopped the online giant from raising tournament prize pools by $100,000 across the board for August.
Eight different tournaments will benefit from bigger guaranteed prize pools including the $55 buy-in Sunday Breeze, $160 buy-in Tuesday Crocodile and even the $1 buy-in Snap.
Many of the events are getting $5,000 in extra guaranteed prize pools while the $1 Snap is getting a 50% bigger prize pool.
888poker Hopeful Connectivity Issues Solved
Connectivity problems have plagued 888poker for the last month but the site introduced a tournament pause button last week to help deal with those issues.
Part of the reason 888poker is adding increased prize pools is to celebrate the site moving past the connection problems.
Interestingly the increased prize pools come one month after 888poker reduced its big Sunday Challenge from a $100k GTD to $75k so it appears 888poker is spreading some of that GTD cash over a variety of events.

6. $22 Buy-in Deepstack - 25% increase
7. $1 Buy-in Snap - 50% increase
8. $5 Buy-in Deepstack - 25% increase
