The Helsinki-native rarely receives as much media attention as his Finnish contemporaries Patrik Antonius and Ilari Sahamies but he’s proven again and again that he belongs amongst the most elite cash game players in the world.
Since dropping $200k into the red in September of last year, Wahlbeck has been on a tear that has seen him win nearly half a million.
Wahlbeck wasn’t the only notable player to cash in big this week as Jens “Jeans89” Kyllonen, Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky and Ben “milkybarkid” Grundy all picked up big wins.
As always check our online poker stats section for more information.
In the meantime here’s a complete rundown of the biggest winners and losers over the last week.
Top Biggest Winners of the Week
The aforementioned Ville Wahlbeck was the biggest winner this week but he had some stiff competition from fellow Finn Jens “Jeans89” Kyllonen.
Both players spent most of their time in the big PLO 6-Max games but Kyllonen put in significantly more volume with 9,115 hands to Wahlbeck’s 3,822.
Kyllonen is now second only to patpatman in online poker profit and has amassed $837k in just over one month.
Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky has been a revelation in 2012 and he kept momentum going with a $166k profit this week. He’s up to $831k in profit this year.
The rest of the big winners this week were relatively unknown outside of bernard-bb and Ben “milkybarkid” Grundy.
Grundy, a noted mid stakes PLO grinder, has moved on to bigger games in the last year with mixed results. It’s been hit or miss in 2012, as well, but he’s currently sitting on an $80k profit.

Top 10 Biggest Losers of the Week
Former professional Warcraft 3 player Davin “mTw-Davin” Georgi has been playing well this year but hit a rough patch over the last week.
Georgi played an impressive 11,584 hands over the week but ended up losing $235k. He’s still up $216k on the year but it was a downright disastrous week for the former video game pro.
Perhaps the most notable loser this week is Viktor “Isildur1” Blom who went on 12,029 hand run that saw him lose close to half a million and then make most of it back.
Despite losing hundreds of thousands to Sander “Berndsen12” Berndsen, Isildur1 continues to play the Dutch pro. He finally picked up a decent win against Berndsen towards the end of the week.
Another big loser this week was Fake Love888, the rumored account of Patrik Antonius. Fake Love 888 only played 197 hands but managed to drop over $100k.
After a poor start on PokerStars, Fake Love888 has started to win more but the latest loss places him once again in the red with -$68k on the year.
