The massive festival began on Sunday (Nov. 9) but this weekend marks the start of the huge $200k-GTD $250 buy-in Frenzy Event.
With a total of six starting days, the Frenzy tournament will run all the way until Nov. 18, which leads directly to the WPT Montreal $3,500+$350 main event on Nov 19.
Remember that last year Derrick Rosenbarger outlasted 862 players to win a staggering $517,049.
$10k High Roller, PLO Event on Schedule
The WPT Montreal main event is hardly the end of the festival, however, with a $10,000 buy-in high roller and a $550 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha event on the schedule.
Interestingly last year Martin Jacobson finished second in the $10k high-roller to Dutch pro Govert Metaal.
Perhaps the new $10m man will decide to go for a victory lap at WPT Montreal.
The festival will also feature a 6-Max event, an 8-max event and a bounty tournament, which will likely include more than a couple poker celebs.
