While common around the globe, the proposed network would be the first one in the regulated online poker market in the USA.
A unified network would exponentially increase the number of players online and the amount of games running on each site.
Delaware, Nevada Expected to Join Forces Soon
The networking software could be utilized to unify online poker sites in different states.
Nevada and Delaware have been looking at joining their player pools.
It would likely be beneficial to both states, particularly since Delaware is an extremely small market on its own.
Nevada and Delaware signed a multi-state Internet gaming agreement way back in February but the result is still forthcoming.
The change could have ramifications for smaller casinos that wouldn’t necessarily be able to support their own poker ecosystem.
Those casinos could simply join the network with their own skin of the software, similar to how the iPoker Network works in the rest of the world.
There’s been no word as to whether New Jersey, a much larger market than Delaware, will join the network anytime soon.
