As always Super High Rollers remain one of the most deceptive tournaments to poker fans because players like Daniel Negreanu can win $550k in a $100k super high roller but in reality have already spent $500k in buy-ins.
With that in mind we’ve decided to shed some light on who’s been making money and who’s been losing Bentleys in buy-ins.
So far Phil Ivey, Mike McDonald and Isaac Haxton have won the most prize money (interestingly Haxton has also spent the second most on buy-ins) while last year's massive winner Philipp Gruissem looks to be the worst loser so far in 2014.
Obviously this is an extremely small sample size considering there have only been three Super High Roller events (PCA $100k, Aussie $100k, Aussie $250k) thus far in 2013.
Thanks to Arved of PokerOlymp for collecting the data (includes about 93% of all entries as every entrant isn’t always recorded if they bust early).
