Shannon Shorr is second in chips at the final table of WPT Lucky Hearts with 3.4 million chips. He’s just behind chip leader Dimas Martinez, who will enter play with 3.5 million.
The final table also includes noted pros James Calderaro and Keven “Stammdogg” Stammen. Tim Kegel and Evan Dollinger take the up the final two seats.
Shorr has one of the most storied careers in poker with over $5.4 million in profit but still lacks a WPT, WSOP or EPT title. Shorr said he was still hungry for a title in an interview at the PCA last month.
Shorr Looks to Add $271k to Impressive Poker Results
The Alabama native actually has one big live tournament score, he won Bellagio Cup II for $960k in 2006, but that was before it was a WPT event.
The $3,500 buy-in WPT Lucky Hearts drew 415 players to create a prizepool of $1.3 million. First place will payout $271,103.
