Today in the 3-Bet we find Daniel Negreanu one-upping Joe Hachem in the "future of poker" department, Brett Richey less inclined to consider Hachem's point of view and the perfect role model for any aspiring poker player to emulate.
1) Negreanu Knows Best: Make Poker Fun or Money Dries Up
Remember the whole "poker is dying/recent WSOP Main Event champs suck" lament Joe Hachem went on yesterday?
Turns out people in poker had some pretty strong reactions to it. Some agreed wholeheartedly. Some gave him credit for some valid points. Some said he's an egomaniac dramatically overestimating his likability and his legacy.
Unsurprisingly Daniel Negreanu also weighed in with Bluff in a follow-up interview and presented the bigger picture much more effectively than Salty Joe.
Poker should be fun. For everyone.
2) Richey on Hachem: F This Guy
As we mentioned above, others, like famed poker rapper Brett Richey, were less inclined to consider Hachem's point of view given his own questionable history of non-ambassadorial behavior at the tables:
Joe Hachem acted liked a whiny entitled cunt every time he appeared on TV after winning the main. Now he's telling people how to act. LMAO
— Brett Richey (@BrettRichey) February 5, 2014Hachem said "one time" on a wpt ft, all in w qq vs a random kids aq. AFTER winning the main. Fuck this guy.
— Brett Richey (@BrettRichey) February 5, 2014He also couldn't sweat all-ins and buried his face in his wife's shoulders. AFTER winning the main. Fuck this "champ"
— Brett Richey (@BrettRichey) February 5, 2014He made a 2nd run in the main, slowrolled aa vs 2 big pairs "ive got the rockets bay-bee"jj won & he buried his face in the floors shoulders
— Brett Richey (@BrettRichey) February 5, 2014Almost impossible for someone to come across worse than @JosephHachem did after winning the main. Yet he's lecturing ppl on how to behave.

Young or old, quiet or loud, math player or "feel" player, man or woman, cash or tournaments ... if you want someone to emulate in poker to keep the game strong, look no further than Chip Reese:
