With WCOOP, SCOOP and now TCOOP titles under his belt, Buchanan is just one win away from online poker's Grand Slam, which also includes a Sunday Million victory.

The Canadian poker pro from Vancouver, BC took down the $83 Razz TCOOP tournament last night for $14,714, a small prize compared to his other major wins on PokerStars.

In 2007 Buchanan took down a $530 WCOOP event for just under $100,000. In 2012 he won his first SCOOP title for $44,145 and won his second a year later for $118,800.

Buchanan is one of only three players to have completed three of the four Grand Slam requirements.

David ‘Gunslinger3’ Bach and Andrey ‘Kroko-dill’ Zaichenko have both won WCOOP, SCOOP and Sunday Million titles. Both need a TCOOP title to complete the Grand Slam and with 15 events left they'll have to get busy, or wait until next year's Turbo Championship of Online Poker.

Buchanan Quietly Climbing Canada's All-Time Leaderboard

It may surprise poker fans to find out Shawn Buchanan is number seven on Canada's all-time live tournament money list.

Since his first cash in 2004 Buchanan has earned over $5.6 million, including a World Poker Tour title and three runner-up finishes at the World Series of Poker.

And while not the most high-profile poker player in the game, Buchanan is one of the most consistent.

He's cashed 35 times at the WSOP and made four World Poker Tour final tables.

Buchanan is close friends with two-time WSOP bracelet winner Greg “FBT” Mueller.
