Coming into the day among the leaders the Team PokerStars pro more than lived up to expectations, tearing up the feature table and bagging the second-biggest stack of the remaining players.

Coming into Day 4 with 1.19 million in chips Katchalov will trail just French amateur Ekrem Sanioglu with 1.3 million when play starts tomorrow.

The remaining field has a decidedly local and European flavor with no big-name US pros left and just one PokerStars pro in Katchalov. Still, several tough outs remain for him to scoop an EPT title to go along with his WPT title and WSOP bracelet.

Kelly, Ziyard, Heath, Geilich Lead British Charge

Notables left in the field include a crew of British pros lead by Eli Heath (642,000) and JP Kelly (540,000).

Italian Dario Sammartino has a decent stack at 528,000 and Brits Ludo Geilich (408,000) and Zimnan Ziyard (339,000), an EPT title holder himself, are also still in contention.
