In today’s 3-Bet we’ll take a look at the recently unveiled Ivey League, Gaëlle Baumann donning leather boots and one very expensive WSOP bracelet.
1) Ivey League Training Finally Debuts
At long last the IveyPoker business model has finally started to emerge.
On Tuesday the site announced Ivey League, which they are calling a premier poker-training site with dozens of top poker coaches from around the world including Phil Ivey.
The diverse group of coaches will provide strategy on all forms of poker including tournaments, cash games and Sit & Goes.
Ivey League will have three different tiers including Undergraduate, Bachelors and Masters.
Undergraduate is free, Bachelors is $9 a month and Masters is $75 a month.
Each tier has different features and perks topping out with exclusive training videos with elite IveyPoker pros like Phil Ivey himself as well as monthly Q&As.
Some of the pros attached to Ivey League are Patrik Antonius, Jennifer Harman, Dan Smith, Cole South and Andrew “luckychewy” Lichtenberger.
We miss the days when Ivey didn’t know what training sites were.
2) WSOP Bracelet For Sale on eBay for $99,995
Want a WSOP bracelet but you don’t have the poker skills to win one? Boy has eBay user goldwatchco-com got a deal for you.
goldwatchco-com is running an auction for a “World Series of Poker Championship $10k Yellow Gold Bracelet from 2013 Year.” The buy-it-now price comes in at a low, low $99,995.
This isn’t an uncommon practice as everyone from TJ Cloutier to Jamie Gold have auctioned of their bracelets.
The unbelievably high price is a new one, however.
It should be noted that although no one has gone for the $99k buy-it-now option, there have been several offers although thus far everyone has been declined.
So just who did the bracelet belong to?
Well only three players won $10k events at the 2013 WSOP in Las Vegas(not including the Main Event): Mark Radoja, Daniel Alaei and Jesse Martin. Both Radoja and Alaei seem unlikely since they are established circuit pros so Jesse Martin maybe?
We'll leave the sleuthing up to you.
3) Gaëlle Baumann Goes Wonder Woman for Winamax
We’re not exactly sure what’s going on in this photo shoot for Winamax that was posted on Instagram but color us intrigued.
2012 WSOP Main Event 10th place finisher Gaëlle Baumann is clad in red leather and showing some serious bicep.
We like to think of it as the cover for a new comic called Angle Smasher Gaëlle Baumann: The Hunt for Andras Koroknai but it’s more likely a promo for Winamax. Check it out below:
