Challengers recorded nearly 2 million hands against PokerSnowie since Dec. 12 but the Game Theory Optimal No-Limit Hold’em software held on to a global winrate of 20.83 bb/100.
Once you remove players who played less than 100 hands the number of hands drops to around 1,577,227 and the winrate goes down to 14.11 bb/100.
But that still means PokerSnowie has earned a considerable €8.5 million profit.
Challenge PokerSnowie Part of Poker Coach Training Program
For those unfamiliar with the program PokerSnowie is an optimal-play Texas Hold'em AI based on neural networks and mathematical modeling and developed from playing literally millions of Hold'em hands.
Challenge PokerSnowie is offered as part of PokerCoach 2 so players get a chance to compete directly against what the team calls “probably the world’s best No-Limit Hold’em poker player.”

As one might expect in the ongoing Challenge, PokerSnowie won more against weaker opponents while some world-class players were able to get away with small victories over the software heads-up.
Is PokerSnowie unbeatable? Not entirely. On January 16 the A.I. actually recorded its first losing day, which was expected as the quality of opponents had been increasing all month.
