If you have a suggestion for a future 3-Bet piece be sure to chuck it in the comments below.

It today’s 3-Bet we’ll take a look at some astounding WCOOP numbers, the durrrr Challenge possibly resuming and the new ISPT Tanger.

1) International Stadiums Poker Tour Heads to… Tanger?

After handing out a massive €589,000 overlay it seems the International Stadiums Tour is scaling back operations… a lot.

A new event popped up on the ISPT website this week, only this time it’s just a €90,000 for first place guarantee.

Interestingly the event is also branded as ISPT Silver, will be taking place in Tanger (Or Tangier if you prefer), Morocco, and will be a €900 re-entry tournament.

Weirdly the event is called the Tanger Millionaire Maker despite only offering a guarantee of €90,000. Perhaps they haven’t quite got a handle on the whole guarantee thing after all.

Details are still scarce for the event but after providing a half-million pound overlay in their previous event you can’t really blame them for bringing expectations down a little.

For more information check the ISPT website.

2) WCOOP Stat Explosion

The 2013 World Championship of Online Poker is underway with some dramatic scores by Toby Lewis and Liv Boeree.

Established way back in 2002 the WCOOP has taken on a life of its own and become the premier online tournament series.

To celebrate yet another huge WCOOP, PokerStars has released an infograph with some interesting stats about the big series (ElkY has cashed 43 times? Madness!).

3) Bonomo Optimistic durrrr Challenge Will Continue in September

Justin Bonomo is the latest poker player to chime in on the infamous durrrr Challenge II between Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Dan “jungleman12” Cates.

Bonomo posted on TwoPlusTwo poker forum that, after talking with Dwan and Cates, he’s optimistic they’re prepared to play thousands of hands in September.

Of course Bonomo did add the caveat that he’d thought the same before and been wrong. So maybe don’t hold your breath.

Honestly we don’t get why it’s taken so long. It’s obviously complicated but at this point shouldn’t durrrr just relegate himself to the computer for a couple weeks and play it out? Or just quit and pay jungleman?

In addition if you remember David “Viffer” Peat also slagged Dan Cates last spring for publically challenging durrrr to play more.

Bonomo claimed in the TwoPlusTwo post that Peat was just trying to figure out ways to not pay what he owed or will owe when the challenge is complete.
