One of the more high profile young guns of the post-Moneymaker era Newhouse blew up on the poker scene with a win at the 2006 WPT Borgata Poker Open for $1.5 million.
Unfortunately for him he moved into the Commerce Casino in LA shortly after and "lost his mind," setting most of it "on fire" with a series of bad money management decisions.
Newhouse has moved back and forth between LA and Las Vegas since and spends much of his time playng cash games at Commerce, although he has had a few solid tournament scores as well.
Newhouse had another deep run in the 2011 WSOP Main Event, finding himself in the top 10 in chips on Day 5 before losing a huge pot to eventual winner Pius Heinz.
He'll come into the final table with 7,350,000 - the second shortest stack.
