Born in Israel, Lehavot moved to the US when he was sixteen and now calls Weston, Florida home.

Lehavot graduated as an engineer from the University of Texas in Austin and worked in San Francisco, where he picked up his online screen name AmirSF.

In 2004 Lehavot decided to take a break from the tech world and travel for a while, at which point he found poker.

Since then, he’s run an online poker training site (pokerwit.com), won his first WSOP bracelet and racked up $3 million in combined earnings live and online.

Lehavot earned his bracelet in 2011 in the very first live Pot-Limit Hold’em event he played, beating pros Nenad Medic, Robert Mizrachi and Mike “The Mouth” Matusow.

He’s no stranger to tough competition or adjusting his game as he progresses through a tournament.

With 29,700,000 in chips, Lehavot stands in second overall and has a very good chance to double his career earnings or more.
