After being short-stacked for much of the level Glazier finally opted to three-bet shove with ace-queen for 1.9 million after an initial raise of 200,000 by Sergio Castellucio.

Castellucio snap-called with pocket tens paving the way for a massive coin flip.

Unfortunately Glazier’s luck ran out as the board went down 9 9 9 5 K giving Castellucio the checkmark.

A heart-broken Glazier was close to tears after busting. She said it would take at least a day before her accomplishment sunk in.

On the bright side she picked up $229,281 for coming in 31st place.

A woman has only made the WSOP Main Event final table once. Barbara Enright finished fifth for $114,180.

Last year Gaëlle Baumann and Elisabeth Hille looked primed to make the final table but finished 10th and 11th respectively.

Before that Erika Moutinho was the last woman standing in 2011, finishing in 29th place. In 2010 women had a particularly rough year, as Bree Zuckerman was the last one standing in 121st place.

The Main Event plays down to a final table of nine players tomorrow. Be sure to follow our WSOP live updates to watch the tournament unfold.
