WSOP Stats: Most Events Played 2011-2012

While it’s true that WSOP winners get a lot of cash for taking down tournaments, those numbers mean nothing if you don’t factor in what they paid in buy-ins.

In fact some of the biggest-name pros in the game are actually down hundreds of thousands from chasing bracelets at the WSOP.

Some are also up but the fact remains if you enter a lot of events, you've got to win big to offset the amount of buy-ins you pay (especially when you include the $1 million One Drop event, although most pros were backed for that).

With that in mind we’ve (with some help from Arved Klöhn from PokerOlymp and the WSOP database) compiled a list of the top 50 players who have entered the most events in the last two years at the WSOP. Big names Daniel Negreanu, Jason Mercier and Justin Bonomo have simply played a ton of events over the last couple years.
