Babakhani Locks Up $442k at WPT Spring Championship

Knocking out all of his opponents at the final table save one, Babakhani rolled to the title fairly easily in just 145 hands, knocking out Barry Kruger heads-up to seal the deal.

On top of the $442k, Babakhani earned a $25k seat in the upcoming WPT World Championship at Bellagio in Las Vegas.

Kruger earned $272,555 for his runner-up finish. The official final six and payouts:

1: Amir Babakhani - $442,248 2: Barry Kruger - $272,555 3: Jason Duval - $199,029 4: Bobby Liang - $136,700 5: Martin Leblanc - $102,251 6: Jonathan Bardier - $81,767

Pros Christian Harder and Bryan Piccioli were eliminated just short of the final table.
