Got better ideas for the 3-Bet? Just leave them in the comments. We dare you.

In today’s 3-Bet we take a look at yet another heads-up challenge for Dan “jungleman12” Cates, nearly 10 years of the Moneymaker effect and more hilarious GIFs from Life with Face Cards.

Chris Moneymaker
Seems like only yesterday.

1) Going On 10 Years of Chris Moneymaker

It’s been nearly 10 years since amateur poker player Chris Moneymaker upset Sammy Farha in the 2003 WSOP Main Event and changed the poker world forever.

Moneymaker penned a blog on PokerStars on the subject today, where he reminisced about the various changes in his life since winning the big one.

Specifically Moneymaker talked about how different the game of poker is now compared to 2003.

With numerous training sites, tons of $100k buy-in tournaments and hundreds of millions in prize money awarded every year we tend to agree the game has changed somewhat.

It seems the appeal of poker hasn’t been lost on Moneymaker either as he plans on moving to Toronto next year to play online and is going to attend every EPT and LAPT.

PokerStars will also be running a number of promos in 2013 to celebrate Moneymaker’s historic achievement.

Brian Rast
A new challenger enters.

2) Brian Rast to Rumble with Dan “jungleman12” Cates

Dan “jungleman12” Cates has shown time and time again that he’s one of the best No-Limit Hold’em heads-up players in the world yet people still want to play him.

The latest contender is cash-game killer Brian Rast who will play Cates in a promotional event at Dover Downs on Feb. 1, 2013.

The public is invited to watch the pair trade blows in a $100/$200 No-Limit Hold’em heads-up match with a $100,000 buy-in.

Cates is obviously no stranger to heads-up challenges as he was leading Tom “durrrr” Dwan by more than $1 million in their match before Full Tilt Poker went down.

Meanwhile Brian Rast, known as "tsarrast" online, is regarded as one of the best all-around players in the world with two WSOP bracelets including one in the coveted $50,00 Players Championship.

The Cates/Rast match is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. local time, in case your calendar needs updating.

3) Life with Face Cards Joins Twitter, Kicks Ass

We’ve featured the site before but the Life with Face Cards' tumblr account continues to be one of our favorite sources of poker humor.

Show it to your non-poker friends and there’s a good chance you’ll be treated to the sound of crickets chirping. Show it to a serious grinder and you’ll have trouble shutting him up.

The site now has a Twitter account (@LifeFaceCards), which links directly to new GIF goodness on the tumblr account. It’s certainly worth a follow.

To celebrate Life with Face Cards' new Twitter account here's a look at some of the most-recent GIFs:
