Warrington Leads, Lodden Lives On at EPT Prague

Welshman Warrington, known mostly for his play online under the names "kidcardif/kidcardiff6," cooled off a charging Lodden's AA with a set of tens in the biggest pot of the tournament to jump into the lead in the middle of the day.

He never looked back, finishing the night at 2,618,000 in chips and in front of the 20 other remaining players.

Warrington will hold a slight edge to start Day 5 on second-place Dutch pro David Boyaciyan, last year's runner-up in this very event, who bagged up 2,469,000.

Despite the cooler, Lodden, who had soared up near the chip lead after a strong start to the day, managed to hold on to see the light of Day 5 and the playdown to the final table.

He'll start the day with 763,000 in chips - still over 30 big blinds and with room to move up again.

Jelassi, Sarwer Still in Contention

Day 3 chip leader Ramzi Jelassi continued his strong play to finish in third spot with 1,975,000.

Former chess prodigy Jeff Sarwer, who came into the day in third, slipped back slightly in the pack but still climbed up over 1 million with 1,233,000 to end the night.

Notables also hanging on to take a stab at a final-table run were Mark "dipthrong" Herm (612,000) and all-time Welsh-poker money leader Roberto Romanello (341,000).

The top 10 in chips to start Day 5:

1. Ben Warrington 2,618,000 2. David Boyaciyan 2,469,000 3. Ramzi Jelassi 1,975,000 4. Sergio Aido Espina 1,792,000 5. Andreas Berggren 1,619,000 6. Mariusz Klosinski 1,524,000 7. Sotirios Koutoupas 1,450,000 8. Aleh Plauski 1,450,000 9. Diego Gonzalez 1,433,000 10. Mads Amot 1,250,000
