Hansen, who was an FTP shareholder and one of the main faces of the brand, will lend his credibility to the new Full Tilt Poker which is set to re-open for real-money poker on November 6.

With more than $11.2 million in live tournament earnings, four WPT titles, a win at the Aussie Millions and a WSOP bracelet Hansen is one of the most decorated poker players in the history of the game.
And in the time before Black Friday, Hansen was at the center of the high-stakes action that made Full Tilt famous.
He was also one of the few people in the poker community to speak out in support of Howard Lederer and Chris Ferguson after the truth about the original Full Tilt Poker’s financial situation came to light.
Hansen Respected by Poker Community
On top of being an icon for his poker accomplishments Hansen is respected by poker players for being up-front and honest, qualities that Full Tilt’s new management hope will rub off on their rehabbed online poker room.

Hansen will spend his time growing the Full Tilt Poker brand at live tournaments around the world, as well as playing on the site when it’s up and running. So for Hansen, things will be much the same as they were before Black Friday.
And according to Sarne Lightman, this first sign is just the tip of the iceberg as far as what we can expect from the new Full Tilt Poker.
