Complementing the $30-million online tournament series offering 65 events over 22 days, the WCOOP radio show will air daily at 3 pm ET starting September 2 and run straight through to September 25.

Included in the lively 90-minute show will be live tournament railing, recaps of the previous day’s events, player interviews, call-ins, special giveaways and more.

Stapes, Wealthall and Broughton Team Up Again

Also back by popular demand are show hosts Joe Stapleton and Nick Wealthall, one of the most respected teams in poker broadcasting.

Stapleton, also host of the PokerStar.nets Big Game, is known for his offbeat sense of humor and witticisms while Wealthall, a veteran TV presenter, is known from his usual gig as the presenter for the UKIPT.

Joining Stapes and Wealthall on air will be Matt Broughton and a revolving stream of pro players you’ve come to know through both their online and live success.

"It provides a way," Stapleton told the PokerStars blog, "for the growing poker community worldwide to share in the excitement of the most important festival in online poker."

As viewers of the PokerStars TV live streams have come to appreciate, listeners can also participate in quizzes and phone-in discussions and will receive passwords to play in $25k worth of listener-exclusive online tournaments.

Among the listener perks on the schedule this year are:

Daily $1 hyper turbo run during the show with a $215 tourney ticket for the winner Tourney entries for using bonus codes announced during the show with WCOOP entries available Spot prizes for callers $82 tourney tickets for the Sweetest Tweet of the Day Tickets and merchandise from the PokerStars VIP Store up for grabs in games running in between each daily radio show
