WSOP 3-Bet: Channing Beat, Dwan Tweet, Duke Dispute

Neil Channing Finishes Second to Henry Lu

43 events are over at the WSOP and so far only one bracelet has been won by Great Britain.

Tonight Neil Channing had a chance to join Craig McCorkell as the only 2012 UK bracelet winners but ultimately fell short, finishing second to Henry Lu in the latest $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em event.

Neil Channing has now finished runner-up twice at the World Series.

 

This was the second runner-up finish for Channing at the WSOP. He came second in the $5k No-Limit Hold’em Shootout in 2010 for $273,153.

Tonight’s second earned the Brit $406,409.

Henry Lu, meanwhile, picked up his first WSOP bracelet plus $654,380.

Finishing third was former WSOP bracelet winner James “mig.com” Mackey who took home $286,633.

Tom “durrrr” Dwan Picks Macau Over WSOP

While we have been treated to a double-helping of Phil Ivey this summer there’s one former Full Tilter who’s been conspicuously absent..

Will Reynolds Confronts Annie Duke

It’s surprising that Annie Duke has spent so much time at the WSOP so far this summer, based on the amount of negativity that’s surrounded her in the wake of FS+G and Epic Poker folding.

What began with Jason DeWitt telling Duke to go f*** herself a couple weeks ago continued today with William Reynolds confronting Duke in the $2,500 No-Limit event.

Reynolds snapped the first picture below while Galen Hall, who described the exchange as a “friendly conversation” shot the second.
