Any suggestion for a future 3-Bet, feel free to leave a note in the comments.
Today in the 3-Bet we find Thor Hansen making a triumphant return to the online felt, Shannon Shorr bringing a new perspective into the WSOP and Dan “Jungleman12” Cates trading good deeds for a free Main Event seat.
1) Thor Hansen Recovering Well, Takes Fourth in SCOOP event
The thoughts of the poker community have been with Norwegian poker godfather Thor Hansen for much of the last six months as he’s returned to Norway for medical treatment in his battle against cancer.
By several recent accounts Hansen has responded well and has been doing much better, and if this past week is any indication it seems the reports may even be an understatement.
Reported by our sister site, PokerListings Norway, Hansen returned to the online felt to play in the 2012 PokerStars SCOOP under his screen name “osten” and placed fourth in Event 38-M, $215 HORSE.
Hansen has made over $2.6 million in poker tournaments for his career (and countless more in cash games), so the $8,205 cash might not seem like much, but to show he’s back on the road to recovery that number is pretty priceless.
Best wishes and continued run-good to Thor Hansen from everyone at PokerListings.

2) New, Improved Shannon Shorr Back for Seventh WSOP
Remember Shannon Shorr?
Once one of the brightest stars in the game, Shorr had a blazing debut to his poker career in 2006/2007 that included dozens of cashes and a nearly $1-million win at the Bellagio Cup II.
With $3.9 million in career tournament earnings, Shorr has clearly done well for himself as a poker professional.
Still, as most young pros who storm onto the scene tend to find out, it's not always an easy road. The last few years haven't exactly been the smoothest, Shorr says in his latest blog post, and his results over the last year have been underwhelming.
What is encouraging, though? Shorr's attitude and lifestyle changes that have put him in a better place and better state of mind.
He's returned to school to finish his degree, taught himself how to eat right and grown closer to his family in the process.
By any definition he's a great success and, despite the ups and downs of poker, hopes to turn that into more success at this year's WSOP.
If more young players were as thoughtful and reflective as Shorr, the game would be a lot better off.

3) Dan “Jungleman12” Cates Offers Main Event Buy-In in Exchange for Good Deed
Remember last year when Dan “Jungleman12” Cates raffled off a WSOP Main Event buy-in so a first-timer could live out a dream?
That was pretty great.
Cates is offering up another once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a WSOP first-timer this year - only this time it comes with a hook.
Cates is asking players to film themselves doing a good deed and post the video on YouTube. He'll pick his favorites and fans will vote on the winner.
The chosen one will receive the Main Event buy-in, a hotel package for the tournament and a free poker lesson from Cates himself.
Says Cates: “I’m doing this because I remember the days in which I was a low-stakes grinder and I remember all the struggles I went through just to have a shot at amking any kind of real money.”
There are a few rules, so be sure to check them out here. Video of Cates's announcement below:
