Known as “Jason of Beverly Hills,” Arasheben is renowned for his "lavish, over-the-top diamond masterpieces."

Most notably he's designed the championship rings for the Los Angeles Lakers and Green Bay Packers and several pieces for celebs including Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James.

The 2012 Main Event bracelet will feature hand-picked round cut diamonds plus all four suits in either rubies or black diamonds. The bracelet will feature 160 grams of 14 karat gold and over 35 carats of diamonds.

“We are honored to have the opportunity to create this masterpiece for the World Series of Poker,” Arasheben said, “and it will go down as the most expensive piece of championship jewelry across all major sports."

Outside of the Main Event winner, all WSOP champs in Las Vegas and Europe in 2012 will be awarded the new, "blingier" gold bracelet pictured above. The winner of the $1m Big One for One Drop will receive a special platinum bracelet.

“Blinger is Better,” said WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart. “Jason grasped the heritage of WSOP bracelets, but was only interested if he could take it up several notches.

“This is a trophy that truly embodies the promise of today’s WSOP – seemingly unthinkable dreams are dealt each year. I challenge anyone to keep a poker face when they see this bracelet in person.”

Bracelets for the past two years at the World Series were designed by Australia-based OnTilt Designs, who created decidedly less adorned, more metallic bracelets.
