Bonomo heads a tough final-table lineup including marquee names like Daniel Negreanu, Patrik Antonius, Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier and former world champion of poker Jon Duhamel.
Rounding out the final-table roster are Masa Kagawa, Tobias Reinkemeier and Eugene Katchalov.
€1.64 million is waiting for the winner but before we get anywhere near that, two more players will have to go broke with nothing to show for their six-figure buy-in.
The money begins in 6th place, paying €310,000, and increases incrementally all the way to first.
Bonomo Dominates Late
Justin Bonomo held the chip lead for the last few levels of the night but put some serious distance between himself and his nearest competition as the night drew to a close.
Bonomo’s dominance really got going when he busted Tom Marchese with quads.
Marchese was doing all the betting and moved all-in on the river of a 6♦ 5♦ 5♥ 2♦ 7♦ board. Bonomo snapped him off with pocket fives, breaking the 2 million chip mark for the first time.
Bonomo proceeded to bust Dan Shak with AK all-in preflop against A-J, moving up over 3 million.
Shortly after, Bonomo made it to 4 million when he took down a big uncontested pot with a river all-in against Daniel Negreanu and Tobias Reinkemeier.
To put the icing on the cake Bonomo busted Anatoly Gurtovoy on the final table bubble, winning a preflop all-in race with AQ against Gurtovoy’s pocket nines.
Bonomo is heading into the final table with more than two and a half times the stack of Tobias Reinkemeier who now sits in second.

Ivey, Seidel Among Busted
Tomorrow’s final table may have star power but we lost some truly big names on the way to the final eight.
Phil Ivey and Erik Seidel, who hold the top two spots on poker’s all-time money list, both went broke this afternoon.
As it happens, Daniel Negreanu will take over the honor of poker’s leading all-time money winner should he finish first in this tournament.
Negreanu took two big steps towards that goal when he personally eliminated both Ivey and Seidel.
In Seidel’s case, it was a stroke of luck that earned Negreanu the check mark.
All-in with pocket kings against Negreanu’s pocket tens preflop, things looked good for a Seidel double. The flop was safe for Seidel, as was the turn. The ten on the river was not.
Phil Ivey went broke when he moved all-in preflop with pocket sixes and got snapped off by Kid Poker with pocket aces. The bullets held up and Ivey was out.
Also eliminated on the road to the finale was Sorel Mizzi, Vanessa Selbst, Bryn Kenney, Will Molson and hedge fund manager Talal Shakerchi.
