Sahamies played over 5,000 hands this week with massive victories (the biggest worth $324k) and some soul-crushing losses (he dropped $182k on Wednesday).
At the end of the week Sahamies was up $283k, which, all things considered, was a pretty good result for the Finnish pro considering the year he’s had.

Top 10 Online Winners this Week
Ilari Sahamies was the biggest winner this week but Phil “MrSweets28” Galfond certainly made waves by winning $400k in a massive session on Thursday.
Galfond had been in a serious freefall for much of the week but the $400k picked him up out of the dumps and gave him a solid $158k win on the overall week.
The lesser-known Phisherman36 apparently found some fish because he was the second biggest winner this week with $263k in profit.
Australian David “Deldar182” Eldar put on a spectacular performance winning $262k after months off inactivity.
Ben “Ben86” Tollerene also continues his very strong campaign over the last two weeks with a $214k profit.
Other notable winners this week included Chris “Genius28” Lee, EireAbu and Finnish pro Ville Wahlbeck.

Top 10 Online Losers this Week
It’s anyone’s guess as to how much more damage the unidentified Zypherin account can take.
The biggest loser this week, Zypherin lost a total of $450k, which puts him down over $1 million in online profit this year.
Even worse, Zypherin is down more than $2 million since activating on PokerStars last winter. That’s getting close to Guy Laliberte-levels so it wouldn’t be a complete surprise to see the account slink off into the night one of these days.
Slightly more surprising was the losses by Ronny Kaiser and Viktor Blom. Kaiser has been hot lately but dropped $285k this week, which saw his overall profit reduced to $400k.
Blom has been fairly cold since winning $500k from Isaac Haxton in the SuperStar Showdown and he dropped another $200k this week. He’s once again down $450k overall in the high stakes games this year. Perhaps it’s time for another Showdown?
