Maybe it's the new deal with PokerStars as its signature sponsor. Maybe it's a successful weekend showcasing the GPL at TwitchCon in San Diego.
Maybe it's just the draw of Davidi Kitai in a bathrobe. Whatever the reason, concurrent Global Poker League viewers on the live Twitch stream have tripled since last week.
It's a beastly 6-Max lineup they're watching ply their trade today with Chris Moorman, Timothy Adams, Brian Rast, Kitai, Vladimir Troyanovskiy and Raiden Kan battling right now.

3) Dinesh Alt, George Danzer Lock in Hamburg Wins
When Switzerland's Dinesh 'NastyMinder' Alt 'came out of nowhere' to win ANZPT Season 5 Sydney in 2013 for $226,320, it was enough of a highlight to earn him one of our nominee slots for the 2014 Rising Star Award.
When he won the TCOOP Main Event this February for almost $400k, it reminded us just how good at poker he is.
Adding to his quietly growing, eclectic and impressive resume, Alt knocked off another nice win over the weekend at Eureka Hamburg.
Drawing a surprisingly tough field that included the likes of Charlie Carrel and George Danzer, Alt topped 367 entries in the €1,100 Main Event to secure the €69,120 first-place prize.
