Jeans89 played a relatively miniscule 542 hands of $100/$200 Pot-Limit Omaha but still managed to thrash his opponents in the three hours he was active.

The Finnish pro won substantial pots off Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, Ronny Kaiser, doncarignano, Ilari Sahamies and Ville Wahlbeck before calling it a night.

Kyllonen started the year on a searing hot streak that saw him hit $1.8 million in profit in late February, to become the biggest winner of the year on PokerStars.

After peaking at $1.8 million, Kyllonen went into a serious tailspin in March and dropped all the way down to $1.1 million.

Despite his downswing, Kyllonen held on to his position as top winner in 2012 and last night he solidified that lead as he’s now up to $1.5 million.

Jeans89 was essentially the only well known online pro that posted a significant victory last night.

The up-and-coming 0Human0 won $113,000 while Ben “Ben86” Tollerene picked up $52,000.

Meanwhile the other famous Finn – Ilari “Ilari FIN” Sahamies – had a very different experience from Jeans89 last night.

Sahamies lost $176k in 584 hands and despite making some positive progress over the last two weeks continues to bleed money in 2012.

He is now down nearly $500k this year, which is a far cry from 2011 when he was the biggest overall winner with $1.8 million in profit.

Sahamies wasn’t the only established pro to lose last night, however, as fellow Finn Ville Wahlbeck dropped $64k.
