In total Galfond picked up just shy of $1.3 million in 35,033 hands over the last month.
It was a remarkable turnaround for Galfond who hit rock bottom in February with $663k in losses and even took a nearly month-long break from online poker.
The Maryland-native returned with a vengeance late last month, however, and is now one of the biggest winners of the year with $862k in profit.
Galfond wasn’t the only player to make waves this month as RaiseOnce, Davin “mTw-DaviN” Georgi and Jens “Jeans89” Kyllonen all recorded massive wins or soul-crushing losses.

Top 10 Biggest Online Winners in March
Phil Galfond was very good in the month of March but RaiseOnce nearly matched him.
The alleged account of Phil Ivey was on fire this month winning close to $1 million in 19,711 hands. It’s a welcome change for whoever is behind the account as they initially went on a $600k downswing after activating in November.
Now the RaiseOnce account has over $500k in profit this year and looking more dangerous every day.
Other notable big online poker winners this month included online studs Terje “Terken89” Augdal who picked up $572,000, Ronny “1-ronnyr3” Kaiser who won $420k and German Benny “toweliestar” Spindler who raked in $386,000.
Even long90110, which has been linked to Tom Dwan in the past, recorded a profit of $271k this month. The account is still down $675k so there is obviously some work to be done.

Top 10 Biggest Online Losers in March
Davin “mTw-DaviN” Georgi may want to return to professional gaming after the month he recorded on PokerStars.
The former Warcraft 3 pro performed an $839k tailspin in 15,939 hands and now finds himself down $316k on the year.
Phil “takechip” D’Auteuil, who went on a terrific run last fall that saw him win close to a million in October, hit some hard times on PokerStars this month and lost $715k.
Even more surprising was the fact that red-hot Finnish pro Jens “Jeans” Kyllonen went completely off the rails with his $615,000 loss.
Kyllonen still holds his spot as the biggest winner in 2012 thus far with $1.2 million in profit but it’s a considerable difference from the $1.8 million he was up at the start of March.
Some of the other notable losers in March included the still unidentified Scandi MaiseE who dropped $549k and Fake Love888, the rumored Patrik Antonius account, who accumulated $444k in losses.
