The two pros were at opposite spectrums as Galfond continued his red-hot run by winning $400k while Sahamies was the week’s biggest loser with $359k in losses.
Galfond has completely reversed his fortunes over the last couple weeks and stands with a $732k profit in 2012 while Sahamies is getting dangerously close to being down $1 million this year.
Viktor “Isildur1” Blom was was also front and center in high stakes online poker this week thanks to a couple huge swings. He ended up almost breaking even after going on a $700k upswing then losing the majority of it back.

Top 10 Online Winners This Week
No one in the top 10 winners this week came close to matching the sheer volume that EireAbu was able to put in at the tables.
EireAbu played over 20,000 hands on his way to a spectacular $401k profit, which was just enough to edge Phil Galfond for the top spot on PokerStars this week.
EireAbu tends to fly under the radar and he’s doing it again this year with $621,000 in overall profit.
The top 10 leaderboard was littered with well-known online pros this week as serious grinders Terken89, Sauce123 and Kanu7 all made nice scores.
RaiseOnce, the account that some still insist belongs to Phil Ivey, also took a good turn as it picked up $207k. The account is now up over $300k this year.

Another week, another disastrous Ilari Sahamies campaign.
The Finn is having trouble getting anything going in 2012 and after losing $359k this week is down $880,000 on PokerStars this year.
The only silver lining for Sahamies is that last year he did almost the exact same thing before finally turning it around in mid-summer and then going on a sick rush to finish with nearly $2 million in profit.
This week was bad all around for Finnish pros as Jens “Jeans89” Kyllonen also booked a $303k loss. Kyllonen has hit a serious rough patch over the last couple weeks but still retains the biggest profit of the year with $1.1 million.
Some of the other notable losers this week include Phil “takechip” D’Auteuil (-$262k), Justin “ZeeJustin” Bonomo (-$153k) and unidentified account 1II|1II|1iI| (-$96k).
