Today in the 3-Bet we find Ben Grundy cementing his rep as one of the best PLO players in the world, Chris Moorman doing the same for his tournament rep and Epic Poker executives under fire for an epic salary request.
1) Ben “milkybarkid” Grundy: Best PLO Player in the World?
If someone in poker makes better graphs than Ben “milkybarkid” Grundy, we’ve never seen it.
Already world-renowned for his $7.8 million career PLO graph, Grundy has added another impressive piece of math art (see below) to his collection.

Posted in his latest blog entry, Grundy says he’s earned over $900k so far in 2012 with $600k from games on Stars and another $300k from euro sites.
He also says the games are so soft on some sites it reminds him of his heyday when he destroyed on Betfair from 2005-2008.
Even Grundy is impressed with his results so far:
“This year has been pretty sick so far…
“My target for the year was to try and win $1 million, I never guessed I would be almost there before the end of March.
“Hopefully the next downswing won’t be too brutal, and if I keep doing well I can play $100/$200 games more often.”

2) Chris Moorman Wins $22k in EPT Madrid Turbo; Stacks Plaques

Speaking of the best in the world, Brit Chris Moorman and his $10 million in live and online tournament winnings has done a few things to cement his reputation as one of the best ever as well.
As if he needed more, he put another notch in his tourney belt when he took down the $1k Turbo side event at EPT Madrid today.
Edging out fellow pro JP Kelly among others, Moorman banked $22k for the win – plus $13k or so in bounties.
Tweeted Moorman:

We professed our love for the plaques before, and this shot only make us love them more.
The fact a guy of Moorman’s pedigree is even grinding a 1k turbo also gives you a good idea just why he's at the top of tournament ladder – guy just likes to play the game.

3) Epic Poker Executives Ask for $450k for 3-Months Salary

Things were already looking pretty questionable for the Epic Poker League restructuring, but they took a turn for the worse with the latest revelations from the bankruptcy hearings.
In a damning article published by Justin Marchand on CardPlayer today, FS+G executives reportedly filed a claim in bankruptcy court for $458,092 to cover executive salaries.
Not for the year mind you – for the months of March, April and May. From Marchand:
"A budget submitted by Federated Sports and Gaming to the bankruptcy court proposed that executives use cash collateral from Heartland Poker Tour operations to spend $458,092 in Federated salaries for three months, March 2012 through May 2012.
"In other words, while Federated Sports and Gaming had no tournaments scheduled to run during these three months, they attempted to use revenue from a company they acquired, but hadn’t fully paid for, to support lavish Federated executive paychecks."
To whom and how many executives it was for wasn't revealed.
It also came out that FS+G filed its bankruptcy the day before a $2 million promissory note was due to Pinnacle Entertainment, among other things.
At the same time, the HPT also filed an Emergency Motion for $42,898.70 because employees didn't get paid in February.
