Whether it be the water cooler or your weekly home game, we’ll let you know who to boo and who to woohoo this week in poker.

Today’s In List features another MMA win for Terrence Chan plus Liv Boeree’s high-flying adventures while the Out List boasts another halted high-stakes challenge and Tiffany Michelle’s culinary incapability.

Poker’s In List: March 5-11, 2012

Terrence Chan’s Fists of Fury: IN

Earlier this year we did a big feature on the intertwined storylines of MMA and poker and our main source was Terrence Chan.

Well, Chan is In this week for winning another competitive fight, this time in South Korea.

Chan was playing in the APPT Seoul main event and, after busting, jumped in the ring for an amateur bout.

Chan won a decision but said he wasn’t happy with the way he fought.

From his Twitter:

After having watched, I am not impressed with my performance at all, but I will learn from the experience. Will blog later, 4am now :)

Keep an eye on his blog for that update.

Check out the video of the fight below:

Liv Boeree’s Rock-Star Lifestyle: IN

Liv Boeree is In this week for continuing to show us all what’s possible when you’re young, beautiful and wealthy.

Boeree plane
Liv loves private planes.

Her last week has been spent bouncing from LA to Las Vegas, and at least one of those commutes was completed courtesy of a private jet.

Things weren’t as glamorous as they sound for everyone, however, as Antonio Esfandiari was forced to spend the flight sitting on the toilet, due to a seating shortage.

Boeree’s Twitter also tells of a raging $1/$2 no-limit cash game at Bellagio featuring Daniel Negreanu, Vanessa Selbst, Sorel Mizzi and Nick Binger.

Poker needs more Liv Boerees.

Poker’s Out List: March 5-11, 2012

Postponing the Blom/Haxton Showdown: OUT

Viktor Blom
Viktor Blom is up almost $100,000 already against Isaac Haxton.

We’ve had our fill of high-stakes online poker challenges dragging on forever (COUGH … durrrr).

Viktor “Isildur1” Blom and Isaac Haxton were scheduled to go toe-to-toe for 2,500 hands of $100/$200 heads-up No-Limit Hold’em today on PokerStars but had to cut the match short, stopping at just 692.

But in that time Blom was able to rack up $99,886 in winnings.

Haxton was playing from his new home in Malta and experienced connectivity issues. Haxton guessed it was being caused by damage from a recent storm.

Haxton wrote on a Two Plus Two thread:

"I'm really sorry about all this. I know it's ruining the flow of the match for spectators.

To clarify the weather stuff: There was a really bad storm 2 days ago. My internet was completely down for 2 hours and has been a little unstable ever since. I think something between the ISP and my apartment must have been damaged."

The match is scheduled to resume later this week when Haxton’s internet problems have been solved.

Tiffany Michelle
Tiffany Michelle can't cook.

Tiffany Michelle’s Cooking: OUT

It’s gotten to the point where Tiffany Michelle would be more accurately described as a reality TV pro than a poker pro.

After appearing alongside Maria Ho on The Amazing Race, Michelle is now putting her cooking skills, or lack thereof, on display on Worst Cooks in America.

$25,000 will go to the last cook standing which would be great for Michelle since she hasn’t had a poker score that big since her 17th place Main Event finish in 2008.

Funnily enough, Michelle’s mother is Merry Graham, a nationally awarded chef who has won recipe contests awarding as much as $10,000.

Michelle might not have her mom’s cooking chops but in this case, it might actually pay off.

Worst Cooks in America airs tonight on the Food Network.
