Galfond was nearly unstoppable as he played huge sessions against online killers Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, Jens “Jeans89” Kyllonen and Ilari Sahamies.
After going on a nearly $1 million downswing in late January, Galfond decided to take most of February off. The time off appears to have helped as he’s been on fire since returning to Vancouver, Canada, to play online poker.
Viktor “Isildur1” Blom may be wishing that Galfond stayed away as he lost a huge chunk of cash to Galfond when he went on his own $800k downswing this week.

Top 10 Biggest Online Winners This Week
Galfond may have been the biggest winner this week but another account that is rumored to have a “Phil” behind it wasn’t far behind.
RaiseOnce, who many in the poker community claim is Phil Ivey, picked up $494k. It was the best week the account has had since re-activating last fall.
The only problem is that the account recorded 7,630 hands, which is unusual for Ivey as he’s not known for being a big multi-tabler like Isildur1 or Tom Dwan.
The massive win finally put RaiseOnce in the positive to the tune of $73k this year.
Another big winner this week was U.K. pro Gavin “gavz101” Cochrane who picked up $216,000. Last year Cochrane got off to a super hot start before cooling off towards summer.
Finally Ilari Sahamies, who’s had a very slow start to 2012, finally got his game going this week and picked up $202k.
The Finnish pro still has some work to do as he’s still down over $500k thanks to a massive downswing to start the year.

Top 10 Biggest Online Losers This Week
Former professional Warcraft 3 player Davin”mTw-DaviN” Georgi was blasted in the high stakes games this week losing $395k.
Georgi tends to stick to $100/$200 6-Max PLO games on PokerStars and this week he simply got crushed by the majority of the players at those stakes.
He’s clinging to a slim profit of $63k this year but considering he was up nearly $600k in January, he’s got to be disappointed.
Viktor “Isildur1” Blom put in a signature performance this week that saw him win $700k but then lose it all plus more. He never really recovered and ended the week down $257k.
Blom is down $420,000 this year but he did win the PCA Super High Roller event for $1.3 million in January.
A streaking Jens “Jeans89” Kyllonen was finally stopped cold this week as he dumped $214k into the high stakes games.
Despite the loss, Kyllonen retains his stranglehold on the cash game leaderboard this year with $1.5 million. Bernard-bb is second with $1 million.
