Any suggestions for a future 3-Bet, feel free to drop a note in the comments.

Today in the 3-Bet we find Haralabos Voulgaris putting the nail in Erick Lindgren’s betting coffin, Jason Mercier and Bertrand Grospellier set for an epic clash and PokerStars’ Zoom Poker getting ready to take off.

1) Haralabos Confirms Lindgren Owes Big, Delays on Paying Debts

Erick Lindgren
E-Dog facing heat.

The ripple effects from Black Friday just keep rippling and this time the brunt of the wave has hit former FTP pro Erick Lindgren.

Always one of the “good guy” pros, it turns out Lindgren has also always been very slow to pay off his sports betting debts.

Very, very slow. But, as long as the Full Tilt money was coming in, he’d eventually pay.

Now that his massive monthly stipend (rumored to be 250k) has dried up, so have the payments to his creditors – and they're going public with their displeasure.

A thread started up on 2+2 by a guy owed $2,800 from a fantasy sports league but it took on a life of its own when Haralabos Voulgaris, a well known high-stakes sports bettor, revealed this was a long time coming for E-Dog:

“We all knew that Edog was pretty much a piece of **** when it came to settling gambling debts. But as long as the Full Tilt money train was chugging along paying distributions, nobody wanted to speak up. “Now that its pretty clear that FTP is done, and so are any prospects of Erick being able to pay anyone back. Everyone is very quick to talk about what a horrible person he is. “And so here I am. Erick, well he isn't such a nice guy. “If some of us (especially me) would have spoken up a long time ago a lot of the little guys who did business with him could have been spared.”

Daniel Negreanu, long-time friend of Lindgren and his initial defender in the thread, has promised a video blog about it coming tomorrow.

Look for it in tomorrow’s 3-Bet; read more on E-Dog's bad betting history here.

2) Mercier and Grospellier on Feature Table at Bay 101

If you're reading this anytime Tuesday afternoon (or possibly evening), click here asap to watch the live stream of the feature table at the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Stars event.

Bertrand Grospellier
Non, merci(er).

Why?

Two of the best tournament players in the world are seated at the same table today and if you have the patience for watching live poker with no hole cards, flop cam or commentary, you'll get a free virtual masterclass.

Both Jason Mercier and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier are also $5k Shooting Star bounties, so the action is bound to be good as the others (including rising star Xuan Liu) try to pick them off.

We hate to use the word "slump" for two of the most prolific pros of the last five years, but it does seem like both are due for a deep run and you can catch it as it starts.

Both have high Tweet hopes for the tourney - especially Mercier:

Slept 14 hours last night. Feel kinda out of it.... No worries tho. Gonna #winbay101

Elky is taking a more modest approach:

Just got my seat for @worldpokertour #bay101. Time to collect @JasonMercier bounty ! I never won a single bounty live!#firsttimeforverything

As an added bonus you can watch Mercier count out hundred dollar bills, pace around to check on his horses and adjust his Miami athletic wear.

Mercier's in Seat 5, ElkY's in Seat 1. Again: Go there now!

3) Zoom Poker Coming to Poker Stars Next Week

We mentioned the Zoom Poker beta testing on PokerStars last week but now it’s been confirmed:

Zoom Poker is coming to PokerStars next week as per a PStars official.

Be prepared to lose some sleep as PStars' answer to Rush Poker looks as good as you think it should.

The test client offered just No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha cash games but Zoom SNGs and MTTs are also expected soon.

Visit our PokerStars review to open a new account and be eligible for exclusive freerolls; check out a video of the Zoom client below:
