The Finnish poker pro amassed over $1 million in profit on PokerStars to take the top spot on the cash game leaderboard.
Kyllonen wasn’t the only player to have a fantastic month as MaiseE, Alexey “LuckyGump” Makarov and Ben Grundy all recorded big scores.
Meanwhile Ilari Sahamies, Viktor “Isildur1” Blom and Benny Spindler felt the wrath of the poker gods as they lost hundreds of thousands.
As always check our online poker stats section for more information but what follows is a complete breakdown of the top 10 winners and losers in the month of February.
Top 10 Biggest Online Winners in February
Jens “Jeans89” Kyllonen may have recorded another huge month in February but the real story may be the rise of MaiseE.
The unidentified Swede burst onto the high stakes scene earlier this year and won $1.1 million in 30 days.
His massive success has led to rampant speculation on his true identity. Several members in the online community have pointed to famous Swedish pro William Thorson but the player behind the screen name remains a mystery.
Underrated online pro Alexey “LuckyGump” Makarov pulled into third place with a $640,000 profit.
The Russian pro is up more than $700k on the year while playing in the biggest games available on PokerStars.
After recording a disastrous -$663k January, Phil “MrSweets28” Galfond took an extended break from poker but came back in late February to record a $229k profit. Galfond is still down $344k but it was a good first step.
Other notable winners on the month included high stakes regs bernard-bb (+$617k) and Ben “milkybarkid” Grundy (+$364,000).

Top 10 Biggest Online Losers in February
Ilari “Ilari FIN” Sahamies hasn’t had the most auspicious start to 2012.
After dominating 2011 and finishing as the biggest online winner, Sahamies has gone -$806k to start 2012.
In February Sahamies played over 13,000 hands and ended up losing $625k, including some big heads-up sessions to Isildur1 towards the end of the month.
It’s not like Viktor “Isildur1” Blom had a banner February either. The young Swedish pro lost $324k in 15,000 hands.
At the end of February Isildur1 was down over $600k but he’s already shown signs that March will be much better month for his poker game.
The rumored Phil Ivey account – RaiseOnce – once again took a beating, dropping a total of $287k. Since re-activating in fall, RaiseOnce has lost a total of $367k. Perhaps Ivey is still getting the hang of the PokerStars software.
Some of the other notable losers over the last month included Benny Spindler (-$368,000), Gavin “gavz101” Cochrane (-$297,000) and Ville Wahlbeck (-$286,000).
