With over $2.76 million awarded across the day’s three biggest events, players from all over the world logged on to PokerStars for a shot at part of the cash.

Russia vs. Russia in PokerStars Sunday Million
Russia took top honors in the week’s biggest tournament, finishing first and second in the PokerStars Sunday Million.
With 7,748 players buying in there was more than $1.59 million up for grabs. That was split up among the top 1,170 finishers with over $232,000 on the line for first.
In the end, however, the tournament would be decided by a three-way deal that saw eventual winner FairLaw take $186,489.
Finishing second was another Russian player, WalterBish, who profited to the tune of $183k and change.
All told, Russian players accounted for three of the spots at this week’s Sunday Million final table.

WSOP bracelet winner and former EPT champion Maxim Lykov booked a win in this week’s 500, worth just over $82,620.
Wading through a field of 918 Lykov came face-to-face with experienced online tournament player insanocut from Canada heads-up. The Russian came out on top, knocking out his Canadian opponent in second for $58,889.
Insanocut has won more than $1.4 million playing tournaments on PokerStars, including a $136k win in the Sunday Warm-Up in 2010.
And Lykov wasn’t the only PokerStars pro to go deep in the 500.
2009 SCOOP main event winner Jude “j.thaddeus” Ainsworth just missed the final table, finishing 12th, and reigning world champion of poker Pius Heinz finished 21st.

This week’s Sunday Warm-Up saw 3,770 take to the virtual felt, that’s up over 100 players from one week ago.
540 got paid, and tops among then was auercan from Turkey who pocketed over $112k thanks to a deal struck heads-up with matilla87 from Spain.
auercan entered the final table second in chips and played it cool until executing two eliminations on two consecutive hands.
He busted danita332789 in fifth, all-in preflop with A-J against A-T, and then sent hmd78 packing in fourth with A-2 all-in against K-9.
Talk of a deal began three-handed but the players couldn’t come to an agreement before LaurisL91 hit the rail in third. The player from Lithuania previously finished second in a Sunday Million for over $178,000.
Once the two final players were heads-up a deal was quickly reached. They left $10,000 on the table which would go to the winner.
