The PokerListings 3-Bet is a private jet, tickets to the Mayweather fight and all the afternoon poker news shrimp cocktails you can put down your gullet.

Have a tip for a future 3-Bet piece? Let us know about it in the comments.

Today in the 3-Bet we find a surprising admission from the Godfather, a future Finnish PLO kingpin in the making and a behind-the-scenes look at Larry Flynt's casino host.

1) Doyle: Outgunned at NLHE?

Ever thought you'd hear the Godfather of Texas Hold'em poker - basically the man who brought the game to Las Vegas and ultimately its worldwide prominence - profess to being outgunned at the very game he's synonymous with?

Well, it happened this morning which just goes to show a) this game will eventually pass us all one day and b) that's what happens when you spend all your time cleaning out Jean-Robert Bellande's bankroll playing Badugi.

I hadn't played NLH for a long time. I was totally off my game in these last two TV events. Guess I had better practice up.#badplaying

Specifically Doyle seems to be lamenting his play in the Aria Super High Roller Shootout which aired yesterday and saw him bounced first from the Pro table.

If you missed it Vanessa Selbst and Kevin Pollak made it to the heads-up battle for the $1m prize but all the episodes so far have been a blast to watch. Check the full TV schedule on NBCSN here.

2) It's a Mini Ziigmund!

High-stakes Pot-Limit Omaha legend Ilari Sahamies has famously been building his Dad bod over the past few years thanks to a poker career steeped in booze and overindulgence.

Now he's got the coming offspring to match! Congratulations to Ziigmund. We only wish we learned to avoid weak rundowns from our fathers before we could barely hold cards in our hands.

3) Steve Cyr: "I Love Losers"

Ever wanted to get Larry Flynt's cell phone number and, you know, take over as his on-demand casino/gambling host? The opportunity's on the table for anyone, it seems, according to the man who currently holds the position.

You want it? Come get it.

Steve Cyr is a famed Las Vegas casino host now working for Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. He's the subject of a new Vegas tell-all book called Whale Hunt in the Desert.

In a preview/interview with Thrillist.com Cyr has exposed a few of the secrets of his trade and the inside info is, well, pretty fascinating. Especially if you're a poker player/high roller looking to maximize your time in Vegas.

All it'll cost? Oh, roughly $100k in gambling losses per visit or so. An excerpt from Thrillist:

"Whatever your situation, though, you should bounce around from casino to casino, rather than sticking with one host in one casino -- unless, of course, it’s me. Hosts know who plays where and competition makes them work harder for you.

"If a host at Bellagio hasn’t seen you in a while and he finds out that you recently played Wynn, he will over-comp. Loyalty is for airline programs, not casinos. And don’t be afraid to ask for stuff up front."
