In today’s Daily 3-Bet we’ll take a look at a potential problem for 888poker’s bid to purchase bwin.party, Phil Hellmuth making a surprise cameo and Erik Seidel being an all-around good person.

1) 888poker’s Bwin Takeover Bid in Trouble?

It looked like a done deal but apparently there’s still a few kinks to be worked out for 888poker purchasing bwin.party.

Online gambling company GVC Holdings made a last-minute bid of £990m to purchase bwin.party earlier this week.

bwin.party has already agreed to the £898.3 million takeover bid by 888poker but said on Sunday that it remained opened to a new bid if it was “deliverable.”

GVC initially made a bid along with Amaya but at this point the PokerStars owners are out of the bidding.

GVC, which is an AIM listed company that specializes in B2B segment of the online gambling industry, secured funding for the deal from US private equity firm Cerberus.

2) Hellmuth Makes Surprise Cameo on Parks & Recreation

Poker is on TV a lot. So much, in fact, that it sometimes can be seen on in the background of other TV shows.

Eagle-eyed grinder Ondra Machálek noticed Phil Hellmuth in the Parks and Recreation episode Two Parties.

It’s hard to tell the exact poker show that’s on TV but Hellmuth is still wearing a UB hat so it must be pre-Black Friday.

It’s too bad in a way because Hellmuth would have made a great character on that show. We’re thinking a maintenance worker or concerned citizen #5.

You could definitely see him complaining about Northern Europeans stealing pots jobs.

Was casually watching Parks & Recs, when suddenly @phil_hellmuth appeared. The guy really is everywhere. pic.twitter.com/Sqahm8xsJT

3) Erik Seidel Surprises East Harlem School with Tickets

It’s hard to dislike Erik Seidel.

The long-time poker pro amuses on Twitter, crushes poker tournaments and has great taste in music.

And now this.

Apparently Seidel bought tickets to Hamilton: The Musical for what looks to be ENTIRE East Harlem School class.

Yep, it would be just fine to have a few more guys like Seidel in the poker world.

Students at East Harlem School inspire me, can't wait for them to see @HamiltonMusical pic.twitter.com/wLw1H03Z6i
