Just last week 888poker’s parent company made headlines for bidding $1.4 billion to purchase its rival bwin.party. If this deal goes through, it could potentially enable 888poker to compete with the market leader on even terms in the US market.
It seems like a good time to crank up the promotions on the site. This is the summer on 888poker.
Same Chances for Everyone in Splashout
Splashout tournaments are not about strategy. You’re all-in every hand automatically. It’s the poker version of a lottery.
That means chances are even for everyone. Currently 888poker offers eleven Splashout tournaments every day and you can take part in as many as you like.
These are the different types of the Splashout Summer promotion:
- one daily Splashout with both $1000, $2000, and $3000 prize pools
- eight daily Splashouts with $500 prize pools and different goodies to take away: Ray Ban sunglasses, cooler bags, baseball caps, beach towels and more. You can also win a free sports bet or some free spins in the 888 casino.
And this is what you need to do to get tournament tickets for the Splashouts.
If you’re new to the site, use our 888poker review page to register. Once you’ve done that, you’re getting four Splashout tickets for free!
If you make your first deposit before September 1st, you’ll get an additional eight tickets.
If you already have an account at 888poker, take on one of the summer missions. For each one you fulfill, you’ll recieve three tickets for Splashout tournaments and they’re really not hard to complete.
You’ll have to:
Play at least 20 raked hands in any cash game
or
Play in one tournament with at least $3 buy-in
or
Wager at least $5 in a casino game
or
Make a bet on sports for at least $5 through 888poker
You can do any of these challenges or all of them, meaning you can win up to 12 tickets every day!
One tip: Use your tickets as quickly as you can. For once they’re only valid for 48 hours, and secondly, why wait? You’re freerolling anyway!
The 888poker Summer Splashout promotion is going to run until September 2nd, 2015.
