Amit burned through 405 hands of Six-Max $50/$100 PLO against Davin “mTw-DaviN” Georgi, Ben “Ben86” Tollerene and Gavin “gavz101” Cochrane and walked away the biggest winner of the session.

The Israeli poker pro is now up to $1.96 million in profit on PokerStars this year and in range of cracking the $2 million mark within the next few days.

Amit is far and away the biggest winner in online poker this year as Ilari Sahamies is currently a distant second with $1.3 million.

Phil “MrSweets28” Galfond also recorded a nice comeback session last night winning a total of $61k.

Galfond played 1,684 hands of Six-Max $25/$50 PLO and ended up stacking the likes of alexeimartov, RivalzZz and kevinnok. The Maryland native now living in Vancouver is back up to over $300k in online poker profit in 2011.

Also among the top five winners were moirhums (+$71k), 1Il|1Il|1il| (+$50k) and Ben86 (+$43k).

On the losing side it was Davin “mTw-DaviN” Georgi leading the pack. The former professional Warcraft 3 player recorded 1,054 hands last night and lost a total of $154k.

Georgi stuck primarily to the $50/$100 Six-Max games but simply couldn’t get anything going. It’s been a very swingy year for German pro and, after last night’s session, he’s barely holding on to a profit of $65k.

He certainly wasn’t the only player to get beat up in the Six-Max games last night, however, as RivalzZz (-$135k) and gavz101 (-$130k) both lost big.

It was a deflating win for gavz101 as the English pro finally recorded a significant $135k victory earlier this week. He essentially erased that victory with his play last night and will have to wait another day to try and right the ship.

68ioweyou1 (-$35k) and donthnrmepls (-$29k) rounded out the top five biggest losers on the evening.
