it won't be last year's champ, Martin Jacobson.

Jacobson was among the record 3,963 players who hit the tables on Day 1C but, much like his tweet foretold, he hit the rail to make a repeat championship out of the question.

Hope still floats among the remaining survivors, though, lead by John Gorsuch who bagged up just under 200k to lead after Day 1C.

Negreanu, Ivey, Hellmuth All Advance

Frustrating day for Ivey but he's on to Day 2.

While big names were scattered throughout the fields on Day 1A and !B they hit the tables in full force yesterday for Day 1C.

Poker's big three of Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey and Phil Hellmuth were included in the onslaught and all made it on to their Day 2 on Thursday.

Hellmuth was, in fact, the last person to register for the event and had to wait in line just like an average Joe.

His reward was getting seated at the exact same table as Ivey - coincidentally the same table Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul had vacated earlier in the day.

Negreanu and Hellmuth bagged the biggest stacks, both near 80,000, while Ivey limped through with just over 20,000.
