Got a tip from the Rio for a future 3-Bet? Drop us a note in the comments.
Today in the 3-Bet we find the price of Gold settling at $120k, the first-ever online bracelet event goes live and the heavy-hitters flex their bankrolls in the Aria Super High Roller Bowl.
1) Gold Falls in Fifth
As we mentioned yesterday we had extremely high hopes for the finish to Event $59, $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em.
Mostly because 2006 WSOP Main Event Jamie Gold was second in chips with 37 players left and we hoped to see him rampage to a final table/second career bracelet.
One out of two ain't bad. Gold did go on to make the final table and some livestream time but eventually fell in fifth.
His take home? $120k, which is a far cry from the $12m (less, um, "expenses") he won in 2006 but, we assume, a welcome cash influx.

2) World Series of Poker Ushers in the Future
It should be fascinating. It is a real bracelet event and will play down until the final six players, when they'll adjourn until they finish it out live at the Rio on July 4.
3) Money Talks in $500k Super High Roller Bowl
It's here. And it should be one of the most memorable poker tournamenst ever held.
The $500k Aria Super High Roller follows up the very pleasurable $250k cash game from the past three days and, with almost everyone able to play this kind of buy-in in town, it should get 50+ players.
One of them Jason Mercier, who chose the "Chips" method when paying his half-mill:
Buckle up. This should get interesting quick. We'll keep you posted in our news/blog sections.
