Got a tip for a future 3-Bet? Let us know in the comments.

Today in the 3-Bet we find an old farmer lighting up the WSOP Super Seniors, Abe Mosseri leads a hungry pack of $50k dream chasers and a WSOP gift that keeps on giving.

1) Farmer Jon Had a Bag

Favorite band? Morcheeba.

We've been privy to some special post-bracelet moments over the years but few have tickled us quite as much as last night's end to the Super Seniors event.

As you've likely read by now, 70-year-old "Hippie Jon" Andlovec took down the $1,000 Super Seniors event for $262k.

Among the more heartwarming moments in his post-win interview?

He plans to pay for an elaborate wedding for his daughter, his daughter actually paid his buy-in for said purpose and he was a farmer before poker.

Even better? Andlovec was around to see Chris Moneymaker trying to sell his 2003 WSOP Main Event buy-in, gets social security because he filed taxes as a pro poker player for years and his celebration plans began with indulging in 'the green.'

Now that ... that's a winner interview. Read the full story here.

2) Mosseri Leads Ashton, JRB, Mercier in $50k PPC

Despite losing a touch of its luster (and field) this year the $50k Poker Players Championship is still one of the marquee events on the WSOP calendar.

With just 84 players and no Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan or Patrik Antonius, though, it'll be hard to declare the winner the "best all-around" player in the world as has been claimed in the past.

That doesn't mean the 19 players left in the field aren't fully invested in winning it, though.

Abe Mosseri
Mosseri: Holding back the wolves.

Leading the pack heading into Day 4 is one Abe Mosseri, looking for back-to-back PPC final tables after a 4th last year. He's just ahead of Brit Matt Ashton, who won it back in 2013.

Also returning to a stack today for the playdown to the final table are Justin 'BoostedJ' Smith, Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky, Yu, Shawn Buchanan, Jean-Robert Bellande (you read that right) and Jason Mercier.

3) Howard "Tahoe" Andrew: Going Strong Since 1974

Fitting that today, on the day we announced our 2015 Spirit of Poker Award nominees, to see this Tweet from Living Legend nominee Erik Seidel:

Playing today w Howard "Tahoe" Andrews. He's played the WSOP every year since 1974, & always great to see him pic.twitter.com/fWZfT8a59l

Chalk another year up to his "most consecutive years at the WSOP" record, and best of luck at the table today Mr. Andrew. You're an inspiration.
