It helped that Kyllonen finished the week by going on a massive 2000-hand $350k winning session last night.
The former EPT Copenhagen winner is on his best run of the year and perhaps of his career.
He’s now up to $1.8 million in profit this year and could very well be the first player to pass the $2 million mark in 2012.
It’s nearly double the profit of his closest competitor, bernard-bb, who is sitting on about $1 million in profit.
Kyllonen wasn’t the only story this week, however, as MaiseE emerged as a dominant force and both Ilari Sahamies and Ville Wahlbeck took huge hits.

Top 10 Biggest Online Winners This Week
Jens Kyllonen may have been the biggest winner this week but Alexey “LuckyGump” Makarov, amazingly, wasn’t that far behind.
Makarov put in just over 10,000 hands on PokerStars ended raking in an astonishing $789,000. The win puts him on $822k on the year and puts him amongst the top five winners of 2012.
There were big winners all around as unidentified Swedish player MaiseE, who wasn’t even active in the high stakes until last week, won $684,000. Rumors are swirling in Sweden that William Thorson is behind the account.
Ben “milkybarkid” Grundy, owner of a new, sweet house, picked up a sizable mortage payment this week as he won $126k.
The rest of the notable winners this week included usual suspects bernard-bb (+$247) and mTw-DaviN (+$184).

Top 10 Biggest Online Losers This Week
It wasn’t all good for Finnish poker pros this week as Ville Wahlbeck took some serious damage in the 6-Max games dropping a total of $375,000.
Amazingly the week started very well for Wahlbeck as he won $200k on Monday. From that point on Wahlbeck went into a free fall and ended up going on a $575k downswing.
Fellow Finn Ilari Sahamies is known for his swingy style that sometimes leads to massive victories or sickening losses.
This week was certainly a case of the latter for Helsinki-native.
Sahamies was assaulted on all sides as he lost in the huge $100/$200 6-Max PLO games as well as the heads-up sessions he played. In the end Sahamies lost $355k on the week.
He’s now down over $700k on the year. There’s a good chance Sahamies isn’t too worried as last year he was down $1 million by summer but up $2 million by the end of the year.
Some of the other notable losers this week included EPT London winner Benny Spindler (-$236,000) and Ben “Ben86” Tollerene (-$204k).
RaiseOnce, the rumored account of Phil Ivey, lost a total of $151k.
