Jeans89 Goes on Warpath, Wins $333k

The Finnish Pro is now up to $1.4 million in profit, which puts him over $500k ahead of his closest rival upstart online player patpatman.

Kyllonen recorded 3,037 hands on PokerStars and was absolutely deadly in the $100/$200 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Max games.

He won $226,000 on a single table with Ville Wahlbeck, mTw-DaviN, LuckyGump, Ilari FIN and Rafi Amit.

Kyllonen went on to win even more in some of the smaller games and ended up recording one of his best sessions of the year.

As good as the action went for Kyllonen, it went bad for fellow Finn Ville Wahlbeck.

Ville Wahlbeck Takes Huge Hit

Wahlbeck was on a serious hot streak dating back at least a couple weeks but catastrophe struck last night when he was wrecked for an astounding $411k.

The same table where Kyllonen picked up over $200k wasn’t as kind to Wahlbeck. He ended up losing $206k on that table and then another $173k on another $100/$200 PLO 6-Max table.

In the end Walbeck lost $411k in 2,674 hands on PokerStars.

Fortunately for Wahlbeck, he’s one of the few players that can take that kind of hit and still be up in 2012. Despite the devastating session, he’s still up by more than $100k on the year.

One of the reasons Kyllonen was able to leapfrog patpatman so easily was because patpatman was active last night. The unidentified account dumped $213k into the high stakes games.

Some of the other big losers included 0Human0 (-$144k), long90110 (-$100k) and tiltjezz (-$88k).

Ice-cold Ilari “Ilari FIN” Sahamies also recorded a regrettable night of action as he lost $67,000.

Meanwhile LuckyGump (+$247k), bernard-bb (+202k), mTw-DaviN (+$130k) and MaiseE (+$99K) all made their way into the win column.
